Very good food, the atmosphere in a shop takes a bit of getting used to, but ok. The "small cheese specialty" consisted of only 3 small strips of cheese, well. Not exactly cheap, but justified in terms of quality.

The store is very beautiful, selling wines, cheeses and other "delicatessens". On site there is a bistro with a wonderful menu, aimed at lovers of fish and seafood. The service was excellent!

Staff very nice, the cook probably wasn't having a good day. The fish had too many bones and was seasoned with pepper. The potato salad was unfortunately tasteless. But our friend swears by it. Just try it yourself!

After a short hike in Franconian Switzerland, stopped briefly in Forchheim and, after a short research, headed to the Karnbaum delicatessen and restaurant. There are seats inside and outside. The daily menu includes many fish dishes with and without pasta, meat dishes and vegetarian dishes. The Skrei ordered was wonderfully soft, the pumpkin seed coat around the carp fillet was tasty and crispy and the choice of cheese was good. The side dishes could be more sophisticated for a delicatessen. Nevertheless, I would come back to the carnival tree and recommend it without reservation.

The order was not as given by phone. Instead of 2 medium carp fillet, we got 1 small and somewhat formed into a roll. The large mixed salad was at most 1 serving and this wasn't particularly good either.
